Surrounded by some 165 hectares of farmland, vineyards, olive groves and woods over the hills of Saturnia, in southern Tuscany, stands Fattoria La Maliosa. Created in 2008 by Italian entrepreneur Antonella Manuli,
the farm has been entirely conceived around sustainability, soon becoming its pioneer amongst Italian agricultural enterprises. By conscientiously developing techniques to enhance and protect the territory’s natural Typicality and Authenticity, Antonella is proving to future generations that it’s possible to reach the highest quality by working in harmony with our Planet. Thanks to her constant commitment, the farm’s oils are all extra vergin with organic and vegan certifications. The production boasts low acidity and high nutritional and health properties like polyphenols and natural antioxidants.
All La Maliosa oils have obtained outstanding international awards, among them the BIOL Extra Gold Medal for the Maliosa Caletra in 2020 and Gold Medal for the Maliosa Aurinia in 2019. The farm’s oil has also been included in several authoritative guides such as Slow Food and Terre d’olio.
