Fattoria La Maliosa spans 165 hectares of farmland, vineyards, olive groves and woods in the Maremma hillside, in Southern Tuscany. They produce wine, honey and extra vergin olive oil. Some of their 3,700 olive trees go back 100 years. In the Italian scene, La Maliosa stands out for its small and valuable production which translates in high nutritional properties, health content and a very appreciated flavour.
The farm’s olive trees are all typical Maremma Tuscan cultivars such as Leccino, Frantoio, Leccio del Corno, Moraiolo, Pendolino and Olivastra Seggianese. Their favourable position together with the mild local climate and the harvesting techniques have given La Maliosa oils the highest quality in terms of Typicality, Authenticity and low acidity. The farm’s oils are all extra vergin, certified organic and vegan. They have been selected as best Italian oils by the prestigious Assam and Slow Food guides and have won several international awards.
